This is intended to educate and inform the public about what is going on with "companies" on line claiming to be legitimate foreclosure companies with years of impeccable service. The information is accurate and provided first hand after I received a call from Central Valley Mortgage Services. http://www.cvmsinc.com/dnn/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx
I first received a call from a Thomas Duran on Friday Nov 06, 2009 from CVMS. He explained he was seeking contractors to do foreclosure property rehabs and preservations in the
Mr. Duran told me that he would work with me and my crew on the phone 24/7 if needed to facilitate the completion of every work order. I also talked with a second rep named Ryan on or about the 10th of Nov. and he said he would Email me an agreement form and W-9 which I would have to complete as well as provide a cert. of insurance with CVMS named as second insured. All this sounded fine and not unusual. However this E mail was already 4 days late as Mr. Duran said he would send it out on the 6th in our first phone conversation.
On Friday Nov. 13th 2009 I still had not received my E mail and I had already started to assemble a crew to go to
I got home a few hours later and checked my Email and found no E again. Now I knew something did not smell right about this. I called again and talked to the receptionist and told her I was starting to doubt everything about CVMS if they couldn’t even send an E in two weeks. She tried the ..” hold on and “.. I cut her off with “if I can’t get an Email with the agreement and my W-9 in the next 15 min I am done. . I told her I could not consider working for a company who can’t return phone calls or send out an E for two weeks and I needed some work orders to schedule SOON as we were getting ready to leave and drive 1,100 mile in two more days and I wanted to get a schedule together with a map in order to cover the list effectively without having to drive all over S. Il. and waste time. She informed me that this would not be possible as they received work orders and sent them out daily and they were completed in 3 to 5 days. This conflicted all the information I had received form Mr. Duran and Ryan and I told her so. I said “ooooohhh so this is not a company with thousands of properties and a back log of work orders and NO contractors in the area as I have been told”? She repeated “our work orders come in daily and they go right out and they are all completed in 3 to 5 days” as if she was reading from a card. I told her that this was the opposite of everything I was told so far and this did NOT look good.
Soon afterwards the E finally came. Well the agreement was absolutely laughable.
If you go to the CVMS website they claim to be a 20 year veteran of HUD, Fanny Mae, and a whole list of other Governmental property rehabs. They list at least 20 reps with phone lines and extensions. They show a multi million dollar house on the home page of their site however when I go to Google earth and punch in the address 641 S. Plano,
I present these facts as accurately as possible to inform the consumers and public of this phony baloney scam.
I don’t know what CVMS is but I’m sure they are not a legitimate company with years of experience. They can’t even send an Email in two weeks let alone schedule or complete work.
In reality the “hundreds” of work orders they had with no one to give them to was a lie. They wanted someone to drive across country and sit in a motel and wait a few weeks to get an unspecified and unknown amount of work orders. So the hundreds of work orders were really a sit and wait to see what comes in.
CVMS is a company to be avoided if you ask me as they wasted at LEAST $500.00 worth of my time. I hate liars and frauds and I got nothing but lies from them. I swear an affirm all of the infomation provided here is 100% FACT and true. stitch_shifter@hotmail.com

i agree they try everything they can to screw you out of your money, lies lies lies .I have reported them to my atty.gen. in ohio and have notified bank of america with w.o.# that they refused to pay me for for camera angles to see if they were paid for w.o.
ReplyDeleteBottom line is the have a whole bunch of immature kids handling their companies who NO people skills. They are one of the most unorganized companies I have ever worked for. I would be embarrassed to have them representing my company. But who are we kidding? The banks dont give a shit who is representing them. And thats the sad truth. But I'd still like to see as much business taken away fro this company as possible!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with all comments. I used to work for them. They are not professionals and can barely speak English. My regional use to say "and stuff" after every sentence. They never paid on time and tried to charge back for things that were their fault. They need to be reported to BAC. Or just go out of business.

DeleteI don't know much about the company itself, however I have seen the building that they operate from and it is quite nice, and the lot is not paved but it does have parking for at least 50 cars. And the address is not on plano st, it is on maine st.. The building looks like a mansion, I think it looks nice.
ReplyDeleteMy company Coast to Coast, Inc. has worked for CVMS for several months and have no problems at all. We have offices from Virginia to Los Angeles.
ReplyDeleteWe get paid on time, the work orders are direct and to the point. There are slow times, and busy. In this business, if you were trained by one of the $99.00 (I tried it but wrote a book because I could not do it) guy on TV- it's a different world out there. Some of you may or may not know, but CVMS has two locations, the small building Jake speaks of is used for only one section of their business, while the larger office is the main office and is were the act is! They are very professional every time I have spoke with any of them.
Jake if your the one that started this page, and have such skill set, why are you cutting grass or pulling crap out of foreclosed homes??
BTW our $3,500.00 came today. We get paid every two weeks.
